Abstract. The computing and graphics capabilities of Microsoft Mathematics for work with straight lines, planes, curves and surfaces of second order are discussed. Algorithms for solving the basic problems on straight lines and planes and transforming the equations of curves and surfaces of second order to the canonical form using Microsoft Mathematics are described.
Keywords: Microsoft Mathematics, analytic geometry, straight line, plane, surfaces of second order.
